More Information
This is a 1971 Aljo. It is 19 foot, double axel, and weighs approximately 3,500 lbs. It is an amazing camper! I am only the second owner of this beauty. I bought it from a 60 year old man that had it stored in his barn since he was a child. The last time it had been used was in the 1980's. They took immaculate care of storing it, even removing the cushion covers and storing them in a zippered bag. The covers that you see in the pictures are the original covers! All of the light fixtures are original as well, and are in excellent condition. When I purchased this camper I immediately had a new 7-way harness installed, the brakes serviced, and the wheel bearings greased. I removed the old furnace and replaced it with an electric heater. I put in a new vintage-inspired refrigerator as well. I removed all of the windows and the j-rail, cleaned them, and reinstalled them with new butyl tape and stainless steel screws. This camper never leaked, and has been completely resealed to prevent any possible future leaks. All the roof vents were removed and replaced with new vents. ALL SYSTEMS WORK! The electrical, plumbing, water compression system, toilet, shower, sinks, oven, range, and hot water heater are all in good working condition. I did paint the interior because since it was manufactured in the 70's, it did not have the nice wood. It was a fake veneer. I have lots of pictures from before I painted to prove that there was ABSOLUTELY NO WATER DAMAGE in this camper anywhere! The floor is original and is solid. The back couch folds out to a QUEEN SIZED BED! The table area folds out to a FULL SIZED BED, and the bunk area is a FULL SIZED BED as well. Therefore, it sleeps 4 adults and 2 children comfortably. This camper is so homey and spacious with tons of storage. The only thing that this camper needs it new tires and the fan above the oven does not work. Please email me with any questions! I would love to show it to you! I would be willing to drive this camper to adjacent states to meet up with a buyer, within reason, for an additional fee.
