1962 KenCraft Trailer. This is a pretty rare camper. A real advantage of
this camper is that the front, roof, and back are fiberglass. The
camper was in a pretty bad hailstorm several years ago - it was one of
the only campers that had no damage. In addition, the fiberglass wraps
over the top edge so it's less likely to leak.
I bought this 6 years ago. Work had been done by the previous owner
-some plumbing replaced with pex, new hot water heater, custom curtains,
new flooring, new freshwater tank, new 7-prong connection, new deep
cell battery-. Since buying, I have replaced all 4 wheels/tires -new
10-ply radials - also new spare tire/wheel-, bearings repacked 2 years
ago, all plumbing is now pex, modernized the furnace to run off
thermostat, stove drip pans rechromed, oven fixed -it works!-, new
kitchen faucet that allows taller items to be washed in the sink -and is
beautiful-, valves in shower replaced last year, all windows pulled
with new butyl tape applied and recaulked -including eyebrows-, roof
resealed and 2 coats of elastomeric paint applied, new roof vent in
front, rear storage compartment rebuilt and resealed -from previous
leak-, sealer on J-rail at all 4 corners dug out and new sealer applied,
all new screening on windows/door, new regulator on propane tanks, new
valves on propane tanks and new pigtail connections, new running lights,
new tongue jack. I realized I really want a truck camper. My loss is your gain!
Beautiful birch wood inside, original fixtures, battery lights have LED
bulbs, original propane light fixture, 3-way refrigerator, Wedgewood
stove, black water tank only, has full bath with separate shower, great
storage, damaged wood in two front corners -pretty much hidden by
curtains-, no leaks, all systems work! It has been stored inside. This
is vintage camping at its finest. She pulls very well - handles well in
the wind. I have a clean title. There's some rust on the trailer tongue
and minor dents in the metal consistent with a trailer of this age. I want her to go to a good home. :-
