DESCRIPTION:The holidays get hectic and crazy and every weekend is filled… so here is a solution for a different approach this year:  No fancy\, schmancy\, no eleganc-y\, no get-dolled up\, just come have a great time being YOU and have a GREAT late Fall/pre HOLIDAY fun time.\n\n**Please read all this post -- because FIRST is to sign up and cll for a camp site!\n\nCome join us for a crazy combination of lazy sister time and a few activities designed to get you ready for the holidays!  Leave with your giggle box well exercised\, some goodies ready for the holidays\, a charitable heart overflowing with happiness\, and lots of friendships renewed.\n\nYes\, we are doing it in NOVEMBER so you have your weekends in December free for other sister parties or your own demands for that busy month!\n\nCome as early as Wednesday the 16th Nov and leave when you need to (or Monday the 21st!\n\nThree separate activities are planned and each has a separate sign up and fee… Pick and choose or do all three!  LOTS of free stuff\, too!\n\nThursday night or Friday mid-morning:  Our inimitable Sarilda Routier is going to do a “replay” of her famous pie crust session that she did for the Lubbock sisters in January.  Seriously!  Think holiday pies\, holiday gifts\, quiches\, and more!  Sarilda can out-do Martha Stewart and give you a running hilarious storyline as she leads you through the process of ending up with FOURTEEN frozen pie crusts to take home (just ask the Lubbock gals- like Lori Owen)  SiGN UP ON ONE OF THE TWO TICKETS-- (leave with fourteen pie crusts and Sarilda will provide the ingredients and and hostesses will provide the wine to make it even more fun!   At the Rec room on site.\n\nFriday morning at 8:30  and repeated Friday after lunch-  Back by popular demand\, Cody will lead us in a painting and wine session with vintage campers in Winter scene.   Or just a winter scene if you prefer. Mimosas or wine. SiGN UP ON ONE OF THE TWO TICKETS-- At the Rec Room on site.\n\nFriday afternoon – TWO one hour sessions – MAKE and TAKE Christmas Swag of Evergreens by master decorator and designer (and sister)\, Cherry Hoback.  These sessions are in town.  All supplies and instruction SiGN UP ON ONE OF THE TWO TICKETS    And you will leave with your majestic Seasonal Swag for your fireplace or your entry door or wherever!  This swag will be well worth your money and time!\n\nFree activities:\n\nLaughter and campfire time\, sing-alongs\, jokes and tall tales or whatever!\n\n***Anyone wanting to bring a craft to share and teach is very welcome—just       announce on the Facebook page and tell us what we would make and what we would need to bring!\n\n***Antique shopping and hitting the boutiques and gift shops in Colorado\n\nCity.  Map provided-   Christmas holiday craft fair going on Saturday\, too.\n\n**Target shooting at Leeann’s farm (lessons provided for first timers or the sister sharp shooter by Leeann’s Hubby\, Gene)-- earn your badge!\n\n***Geocaching around the area—probably over 12 in the county.\n\nThis is a good lake for Kayaking and even November may be possible (depending on weather).\n\n***Board games\, LCR\, Heads-Up (sister-rated version) and card games and sister hi-jinx and lots and lots of laughter.\n\nOur FINALE-\n\nSaturday night\, deck-the-trailers and show off your holiday style.  Benefit public trailer tour with proceeds to the Friends of the State Park and the local food drive for the Mission food baskets.  We will get this heavily promoted in the city and try to really provide food for local families (the public will bring cans of food in exchange for admission to see our trailers).  Sisters can opt to not participate\, of course.   More information provided on the Facebook group page that will be created.\n\n*** may have a crazy contest for the tackiest holiday craft...  still to be determined.\n\nMeals- meals for those arriving before Friday morning will be on their own.\n\nThursday night- on your own or a group night at Mi Ranchito Mexican Restaurant in Colorado City.-   each sister pays her own dinner cost.\n\nFriday breakfast- meal team leader is tone determined....sign-up sheet on facebook\n\nFriday lunch- meal team leader is Debbie Davis--sign-up sheet on facebook\n\nFriday night- Special time to recognize all sisters who attending their first SOTF EVENT!\n\nmeal team leader is  Derise Baker\n\nSaturday breakfast- meal team leader is Christine Youngblood-  sign up-  signups will be put on Facebook\n\nSaturday lunch on your own-  some may wish to go to town for Biggs Pizza or Mi Ranchito or The Downtowner\n\nSaturday night  meal team leader is Betty Scott–around the fire pit after the trailer tour… (inside rec room if too cold!) sign ups will be put on facebook\n\nSunday light breakfast- meal team leader is Gerrianne Cheek\n\nCarol Hayes is team leader on mimosas or ???\n\nFIRST get your campsite at the Lake Colorado City State Park—we are shooting to all be in the Mesquite Circle. If you have a big rig and want pull through\, those spaces are limited and are in the adjacent Rolling Hills Camp Ground.\n\nSecond sign up on the web page for the tickets for the activities you wish to do—NOTICE the tickets will list each lesson time separately—just sign up for one of the two times.\n\nBe sure you are on the Facebook Group page and watch for meal team signups.  Each sister is asked to be on one meal team.\n\nThis is a "green" event.  Please bring your own eat ware and help us reduce the amount of paper products.\n\n*This could be your chance to learn your cigar smoking badge\, your kayaking badge\, martini\, wine tasting\, shooting\, and more.\n\nDogs allowable IF kept at your campsite and are on a leash at all times or inside your rv/camper.  Follow all park rules regarding noise\, picking up after them\, etc.\n\nHostesses: Leeann Moore\, Shana Holmesly\, Kathy York\, Becca Frierson\n\nNo refunds on the tickets.\n\n
