If you like Fall camping this event is for you!  We will be attending the 17th Annual Johnny Appleseed  Lumberjack and LumberJill Festival.  The cornerstone of this event is the timber sports competition for both men and women.  In addition the festival will feature apples in all kinds foods and crafts.  Our campground has an immediate access to a bike trail.  Join us on an 8 mile bike or walk to the Kinzua Bridge Sky lookout.  I will be designing a patch for our event.  Information an updates about the event by joining our Facebook page called  " Fall Apples LumberJack & LumberJills SOTF. Cyndi Burk and myself will be your hosts for this event.  Make your campground reservation with Tom or Ellen by calling 814-778-5336.  Tent sites $38.00, W/E $47.00, W/E/S $51.00 they also have cabins to rent . I will be on site 70 and Cyndi will be on site 71.  We will focus on sites 66-75 and pull through on sites 29-24. We will have a Coffee Bar every morning and a Happy 1/2 hour in the evening   the sites numbers will be announced.  If it is ok with you I will be planning the meals for evening that we share together .  This makes it easy, very little waste, and easy clean up.  All you will be ask is to bring an item from my list for each meal we share.  I will post the menu and items you an bring you on the Facebook page you can respond by picking an item for each meal.  Call me with any questions Pat 814-229-4147 for I don't have internet or a computer at my home.  Hostess gifts are not necessary please our gift is you coming to our event.

Thursday

l:00 pm Check in  get settled in 

5:00 pm Have your food you picked for this meal to site 70 for evening meal

5:30 pm Happy 1/2 hour  the site number to be announced. Bring you glass and chair

6:00 pm  Dinner at site 70 weather permitting.  Bring your place setting and silverware.  If raining we will have the pavilion to use.

8:00 pm  Campfire at site 68. Bring your chair, beverage of choice and a few logs for the fire

Friday

8:00 am  Coffee Bar site will be announced.  Bring you Mug

10:00 am - 3:00 pm  Lunch on your own. Time to explore the area and campground

3:30 pm  Leave for Lumberjack events.  Car pooling will be nessary please volunteer to drive.  Plan to have your evening meal at the festival.  Competition LumberJacking Events from  at 6:00pm to 8:00pm

8:00 pm  Return to campground for Campfire.  Bring you chair, beverage of choice, and a few logs for the fire.

Saturday

8:00 am Coffee bar don't forget your mug

10:00 am to 3:00pm  Bike or walk to Kinzua Bridge Sky Lookout.  Bring your water bottle and lunch.  Don't want to ride your bike or walk then driving your car is also an option,  Ask other sister to carpool.  

3:00pm  Have your food item to site 70 for evening meal

3:30 pm Happy 1/2 hour bring your glass

4:00 pm Dinner at site 70  bring your place setting and silverware.

5:30 Leave for Lumberjack Luminaries at 6:00pm  Meet site 70 to carpool there

8:00 Return to campground

8:30 pm Campfire Bring your chair, beverage of choice and a few logs for the fire.

Sunday

8:00 am Coffee bar Bring your mug

1:00 pm checkout  Time to say our goodbyes.  Safe trip home sisters and we will see you on the trail again!
