If you are a Pink Sister or support someone who is WE NEED YOU! Join us as a volunteer for a fun filled race event!

As a “Pink Sister"" -Survivor/Thrivor- dx with Breast Cancer in 2019, I enjoy giving back by participating as a volunteer for this amazing fundraising event “Pledge the Pink"". PTP is a 30 mile walk to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Teams registered for the race run, walk or waddle 10 miles each day for 3 days.

*This year PTP is Oct 17-20^th 2024 in Amelia Island, FL.

*Laura Morgan SOTF #12742 runs the event, and volunteers are needed to make the event a success.

* The greatest need is for Directional Volunteers along the race route on Sat and Sun. These volunteer shifts are about 2 hours from 730-930 in the morning and each course showcases a different and beautiful section of the Island. You are welcome to volunteer for additional shifts if you wish.

Join in on multiple after parties at the finish line!

Where to begin?? Grab a friend -SOTT WELCOME- and sign up for this SOTF EVENT WITHIN AN EVENT to join us as a volunteer and meet up during the event weekend for some SOTF fellowship!

Go to the event main page pledgethepink.com > GET INVOLVED > VOLUNTEER > SIGN UP > Create an Account > Sign Waiver > Pick your shifts. There is a link that shows the race route for each day and when you sign up for your shift it will tell you a location where you are needed.

Need a place to stay? Check out the numerous Airbnb, VRBO or local rental properties available in the area. Bring a friend and share your space to make it more affordable. The center of it all is the Main Beach Park located at 32 N Fletcher Ave, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

FRIDAY-Check out the day events 2024 Friday - Pledge the Pink The race this day starts at 8am at Peter"s Point Park and the after party is at Main Beach Park.

After FRIDAY"s Race activities we will have a meet and greet at 4pm at Sandbar Amelia Island located at 2910 Atlantic Ave, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

SATURDAY- Check out the day events 2024 Saturday - Pledge the Pink. Race begins at 8am at Main Beach Park. Check out Chantelle"s Sharks Obstacle Course 1230-1pm. This event was the brainchild of our NC Sister Chantelle Hurst who we lost this year unexpectedly -RIP Chantelle!-. Meet and greet at 4pm at Salt Life Food Shack 17 N Fletcher Ave, Fernandina Beach, FL

SUNDAY- Check out the day events 2024 Sunday - Pledge the Pink. The race this day begins at 730am at Main Beach Park. Meet and greet at 2pm at the Beach Park pavilion 32 N Fletcher Ave, Fernandina Beach, FL

**Most racers and volunteers arrive on Thursday and stay until Monday** It is up to you to decide how many nights you wish to stay.

**It is your responsibility to book your own accommodations** Sharing with a friend will allow you to split the cost
